Disgusting product - HORSE HAIR

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had a severe allergic reaction to the most recent batch of hair from glam seamless. Ive spent thousands of dollars on their hair only to have matted wads of hair that has damaged my real hair.

My allergist confirmed that this is HORSE hair hence the reason for my reaction. Disgusting, Glam Seamless. I emailed you and you sent some generic response refusing to refund me and advising you do not offer refunds after the fact, despite the fact that you are marketing a product that is NOT what you disclose.

Breach of contract. Next, you will hear from my attorney and Ill pursue far more than the one time refund I was originally seeking.

You are so correct. Same experience.

My stylist said same thing. Its why is get wavy when wet and rat nests up because of chemicals they use to color and treat to make look like human hair.

Not only has the quality changed for sure over the years, they also seem to not care about their customers at all. My hair is a different color now and I reached out through email, Instagram, and text as the site say you can also do for a color match.

It’s been over a week and a half and I have not received any response. On Instagram is shows that they read my message. I even sent another one to follow up and they ignored it. If they can’t even reply to a simple color match request how difficult would it be to make a return or exchange if you have an issue with your hair?

I’m absolutely disgusted by them. Just for comparison I reached out to Zala, Bellami, and Donna Bella for a color match and received a response within an hour for all three.

Glam seamless is not only lacking quality when it comes to their hair but also their customer service! Save your time and go elsewhere.

Extensions

I called several times and was told they would overnight the extensions that were never ship.. I needed them sou stylist could apply and have now cancelled 4 appts w her.

When I called again they finally shipped them out but to the WRONG address even after I said on the

Phone my correct address.

I wasn't able to get my hair done for the holidays and now still don't know where my order is ... It was turned down at the address they tried to ship it to k owing it was just a week stay for a vacation at am AIRBNB not my home..

My other complain is using the word " Pissed" customer implies something is wrong and irrational w you customers.. who would use such a slang word to describe customers.. it's not the wording of a reputable company ..

it's ghetto slang , all it does is dumb down your company and make the administrators look uneducated...

Just some advice.. I would never tell someone I was " " "Pissed off"

Slippage, sticky mess, tangles...

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I am writing this review in hopes that the founder that who posted here defending the product, reaches out and contacts me directly. If she believes her hair is of the finest quality then she is not aware of what her company is selling.

She actually defended the product and said all bad reviews were made by competitors - Um no! Nice Try. I am happy to post an image of my $700 purchase. To give you some background, I have worn extensions for 3+ years.

I tried both the microlink and tape-ins made by Cinderella. Same stylist always applied them. Before my daughters wedding I started looking into Glam Seamless because I wanted to wear my hair up and for them to be invisible. Although the extensions are much more expensive than Cinderella I did it anyway.

They were put in a week before the wedding. The day of the wedding 4 of them slipped in the shower. Mind you, I ALWAYS follow best practices and use the right hair products, sleep with a satin pillow, etc. It was all downhill from there.

I have been back for a maintenance once and so far they are holding (its been 4 days),,, BUT the tangling and the amount of hair that is coming out every time I brush shows the poor quality. I am not even sure this is all Remy hair. I am aggravated but what can I do now? The only way the company will act is by sending the hair back and I have already spent a fortune and don't want to remove them at this point.

So I am dealing... I will also keep my eyes open for a class action lawsuit.

Sale items are a scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

i ordered from the sale items and apparently glam seamless sale items are the rejects that dont qualify to be full price. the clip ins that i received are nothing like the color i ordered and the ends are very thin.

there was no sticker seal on the package either like there is supposed to be. when i contacted them they told me there is nothing i can do because sale items are final sale but the problem i have here is that its not the product i ordered!

when i went to social media they tried to “help” me but instead they deleted my comments and then blocked me so there could be no further contact. this is absolutely ridiculous and glamseamless it wont be long until more people find out the truth about your scam scheme

Glamseamless “diy seamless selfie” extensions are 50 dollars. It says no where on the page that they are a single pack, however every other extensions says the number per pack very clearly. The extensions are tape in remy extensions, so 50 dollars for one piece

But the 20 piece remy tape in extensions are 130 dollars per pack and the two piece sample is 8.99. How does that math add up. I emailed them to which they responded by telling me what I ordered, and then I asked them to break down the pricing to which they responded by saying they could break down the pricing but the two piece was 1 inch wide and the one piece is 3 inches wide

How does that make any sense?

So now my nanas been screwed out of 50 dollars I’m not going to have the hair I want for prom and I’m pissed

The hair felt like good quality but was frayed and tangled as soon as I took it out of the packaging. Not worth 50 dollars for one piece.

This is an outright scam.

Waste of Money

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased the “wavy” ash blonde 20” extensions because I naturally have curly hair and the straight extensions look trashy with my natural curls. They wavy extensions are not curly AT ALL even though they advertise them to be (look nothing like the picture).

NOT ONLY THAT over half of them fell out within a week of putting them in LESS THAN A WEEK. I emailed their support team to see if I can return to get my money back, no response. So Glam Seamless if you see this, PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK!!!

I want my money back. You can keep your scam of extensions.

Not good

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My hair is very thin so I buy the tape ins for volume and some length. Normally (from other companies- including ones off of amazon) I buy two packs and have no problem.

I bought two packs of hair from glam seamless and the ends of the extensions are so thin you could clearly see the difference between my hair and the extensions.

There was no fullness at the ends of the hair. Very disappointing for how much you pay for them.

This is Barbie Hair, READ THIS BEFORE BUYING

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Glam Seamless - This is Barbie Hair, READ THIS BEFORE BUYING
Glam Seamless - This is Barbie Hair, READ THIS BEFORE BUYING - Image 2

Listen, do not buy this hair.

I've been wearing human hair extensions for 10 years. I started with clip ins from Sally's Beauty, and then upgraded to Milk + Blush human hair clips. After 3 years I decided I wanted tape-ins and my hair dresser told me to get Babe extensions which she swears buy. I had my set of Babe tape ins for OVER A YEAR... because that's how good the quality was. My hair stayed perfect for over a year. I would move them up myself, cut them, tone them, curl them, treat them like my very own hair and they were always perfect. Never got ratty, never tangled, EVER... you get the point.

Well, I live in France now and I don't have my hairdresser anymore which means I don't have access to Babe hair. It was finally time for a new set so after much research I landed on Glam Seamless, truthfully because of their marketing (I thought a company with such a beautiful website and Instagram must have a solid product to back it up, right????). Wrong.

I ordered 2 sets of their 18 inch Remy Human Hair Tape Ins in (Ash Blonde 60) for a whopping $300. I received them and they looked lovely so I was excited. However, while sitting in the chair of my colorist getting my highlights done - having already bought the hair - I decide to run a google search for reviews of Glam Seamless and my jaw DROPPED.

There was not a SINGLE good review. I sat there, holding the already-opened hair that I'm about to apply, reading from hundreds of women saying they are the worst hair they've ever purchased. So I am obviously panicking but there's nothing I can do now so we install them. The first few days are fine, they're silky - but almost TOO silky which in my opinion is a bad sign - you know what I mean? When they're like FAKE silky? They don't feel real? Yeah, like that.

Fast forward to my first 2 weeks with the hair. I have never had hair this bad in my life. They tangle on their own and turn into this giant matted mess of Barbie hair, ON THEIR OWN. I take good care of my hair. I use a deep conditioner twice a week, I wide-tooth-comb my conditioner through and let it sit, I meticulously use my wet brush after a shower, I air dry, I am good to my hair. And none of it matters with Glam Seamless hair.

With this hair I will do all the steps, dry it, and then curl it into relaxed waves, lay down on my bed for 2 seconds, and then when I sit up I have a BALL OF MATTED HAIR from doing nothing. It's not like I'm on my bed rolling my head around. Nope, I sit down, stand up, hair is in a ball. Some other girl on here described them as Barbie hair and honestly that is the only way to describe them - Barbie hair. Like it get's wildy frizzy and large. The texture feels exactly like a Barbie's hair who has gotten wet - spongey, frizzy, like you could bounce on it... it doesn't lay flat, it does not brush out, it does not de-tangle. I even cut off a piece and burned it to find out if it's real hair because I would have bet my life it's not and yet by SOME MIRACLE it is in fact human hair... just the *** human hair on planet earth. Like I don't know what in god's name Glam Seamless does to their hair to turn natural human hair into this frankenstein monstrosity, but it's deplorable.

I am kicking myself constantly for not reading these reviews BEFORE purchasing. Trust me, please do not buy this hair. One time, in a very desperate situation I bought *** hair off amazon (straight from china) for $20, and that hair was better quality than this Glam Seamless hair.

I've had this hair for about 2 months now and it just gets worse. Lately I have had to resort to SOAKING MY HEAD IN FABRIC SOFTENER just to get them to look somewhat okay. Where did I come up with that solution? Well, I saw an article saying fabric softener will revive Barbie hair and I thought hey, I'm wearing Barbie hair on my head so let's try it out, and low and behold it actually helps. Yes you heard me, I have a jug of Downy fabric softener in my shower because that is how bad this hair is.

See photos of said matting, and that is after brushing it thoroughly.

The ONLY thing I will say that could possibly account for how bad this hair is is that I bought the Remy Human Hair, which means they've been colored. Maybe there is a chance the Virgin Human Hair ones are better. I personally will not be the one to test them and find out but.... maybe someone out there can report back?

Godspeed ladies, don't buy the hair.

Yes! worst hair ever!

Milk and Blush is trash though! They matte up and turn all dry like that.

How long ago to use them?

I’ve bought from them a few times since they’ve been dirty looks and they are the worst extensions I’ve ever had in my life! And they don’t even respond to their one form of contact (email)!

Guest

Wow, thxs! Seeing their product in picture made me change my mind instantly. Thanks you just saved me a ton of money!!!

Guest

Exactly the info I'm looking for.Thank you ladies for your honest reviews! It help other women out there who are looking for good hair.I wish I didn't have to resort to using stupid extensions but after losing 60% of my once thick, waist length healthy hair from thyroid disease, I'm stuck with *** flat, thin shoulder length shit**y hair.I believe long hair is SO MUCH MORE ATTRACTIVE than short it nedium length hair ( I hate it ).For now I wear the Halo type but out of 8 Halo hair purchases, I gave only found ONE to be genuine quality hair and it happens to be the first one I bought and it got candle wax all in it I had to cut it and since then I've been searching for quality non frizzy tangled flyaway *** Barbie doll hair!

I'm SICK OF IT!These companies who advertise "quality" "100% human" and " soft, shiny" need to back their claims & not just for the first 3 hours of wearing it. Paying $100's of dollars for junk is not going to work for me.I was looking into this company to buy a halo extension and Now I WILL NOT be buying from Glam Seamless. Regardless of what their response was! And it's obvious the anonymous who wrote in and said the girl didn't take care of them right is a moron and obviously works for Glam.

Duh. No thanks you're an ***

I read a review to wash synthetic wigs with fabric softer and water. This helps with shine and to detangle.

I tried it with this product and it definitely helped. I can't say 100 percent it's all synthetic but something is definitely kosher.

Mine only lasted 2 weeks before looking like a rats nest . Judging from the amount of reviews recently I truly hope this company is held accountable.

Guest

Post a review on their yelp. They consistently steal people’s money. It’s because the owner hates herself and the world.

Guest

Hair is completely fake. I had the same problem with this brand.

Too many people have in fact had the same problem with this company, which should tell you something.

I am sure she didnt spend $600 on extensions to not properly take care of them. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Guest

The hair is not fake you just don't know how to take care of it.

Glam Seamless Lies, terrible experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user May 14, 2019

Not much to update. They did respond on trust pilot to my review, saying they couldn’t refund my money because I had disputed with my credit card company already and the funds were frozen, another lie.

I’m actually still paying on this fake hair I never wore because used sezzle to make payments ♀️. I actually changed my credit card number after that, but sezzle somehow got my new credit card number from MasterCard wtf! Didn’t know that was possible! And in my last emails with glam seamless, these jerks mentioned the burn test and said they would love for me to send them of video of the results as they care about the quality of their hair.

Ok so I do only to have them respond saying that they now have documentation that I damaged the hair so they could not take the hair back now. Just WOW, shady as heck. Told them I burned a separate single weft I bought from them and not the hair I’m trying to get refunded for, no response to that. I knew better than to burn the hair I wanted refunded already ♀️.

There is no other hair company selling hair over the internet without a tester weft or some way to actually see the hair before being stuck with it that I have experienced in my over a decade of wearing extensions. I had bought two single wefts from the them separately and since my review I have tried toning with purple shampoo several times and no color change at all. I will try actually toner dye next and see what happens.

Not sure what these people are selling but it’s now 100% remy human hair. Most likely it’s the same synthetic they use for their synthetic ponytails.

Original review Mar 15, 2019

Everything that glam seamless says here in their replies is a lie. Their hair is fake, not real or remy.

They do not send a tester weft, just a box that cannot be returned after opened . Even so I was told they would refund my money if I had not worn the hair. I sent the hair back still fully attached to ties in a bundle, unworn. These fools just sent the hair right back to me, said it had a smell .

I complained about the quality of the hair several times. Glam seamless claims here that they want to know if there is “one single hair” that is not real, well the hair I was sent was full of clear plastic hairs in the dark half of the ombré, and even had black hairs in with the blonde . Hair looked and felt plastic. Glam seamless did not refund or exchange.

Never a word in response to my complaints about the quality, and did not honor their claim of a six months guarantee quality warranty. I am still sitting here with the same fake hair in the package with no money returned to me. This place is scamming people out of their money and sitting here answering complaints with a bunch of lies. My intention was to review this company and see if these complaints here on their site were valid, as I am always interested in finding good hair companies, and tired of the bad ones.

When the company offered to refund after the box was opened, I thought maybe they were as bad as the claims here but the complaints here are true, it was all just part of their scam. I video taped the whole process and will post to YouTube soon. This hair definitely has synthetic hair and could possibly be ALL synthetic.

They will not refund your money, even if the color is simply wrong, and they will not honor their warranty even if you never even wore the hair . Just a bad bad hair company.

Also forgot to mention that when glam seamless sent the hair back to me it seemed like less hair! Weighed it and it did not weigh 180grams.

I called in and asked if the 180grams advertised included the weight of the clips, and was told no, hair should weigh 180 without the weight of the clips. So then when I said well the hair I have doesn’t even weigh 180, then the story changed wtf! I don’t think they sent back the same hair or some of the wefts were removed or changed.

I can’t believe these people told me to send back only so they could send me back half the hair. Seems like they think they can get away with anything without recourse.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Glam Seamless - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Glam Seamless - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - Image 2

First off I would like to state I am a licensed cosmetologist, I have been wearing hair extensions for over ten years. When I first purchased from this company back in 2016 the hair was amazing, it lasted over a year!

My issue with the company was their tape. This tape doesn't last more then 2 weeks, but since the hair quality was so good I worked with it and found other tape. Now the next set of hair I purchased towards the end of 2017 is when my nightmare started. After washing the hair it immediately started to mat.

This is 100% indicative of un human hair, once you wash the sealant off it is all downhill. The hair would matt from me sitting and doing nothing. It was extremely embarrassing. I contact the company and after multiple emails and phone calls they finally email me back stating they will not refund me but I can send the hair back to their "quality control".

I sent the hair back at the end of January after multiple emails again and phone calls they explain that they were at a hair show and they're sorry it has taken so long and someone will be in contact with me in the next 48 hours. Again no one contacted me. Finally a week later I get a hold of someone and they state the hair is not up to their standards and they can send out replacement hair but they will not issue a refund. Do you think after 3 months of the most terrible customer service I would want to order more hair from them?

I ended up having too and of course they are out of stock of blonde for another six weeks. The hair is back in stock so I order it, install it and what do you know after the first wash it is a rats nest! So again I have to email them and they want me to send back the hair to quality control and wait another three months for them to inspect it? This has been a time frame of SIX MONTHS.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! THEIR HAIR IS NOT HUMAN HAIR!

I purchased tape in hair from Glam and each piece has more hair than other companies selling tape ins but the glam seamless did not hold up and had many different types of textures in each seamless piece. They also started developing split ends all over the hair .

Guest

I am having the exact same issue. I do not trust their product for them to send me replacement hair.

I believe they are selling mixed hair and so does my stylist who is well versed in hair extensions. I am curious to see how many people are going through this exact thing so that something may be done about it. We are wasting our money getting it installed and for what? Nothing.

It's a shame. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to chat more.

Oh I’m sure they’re selling synthetic hair! Human hair does not knot like that.

Unfortunately there’s no regulations and only a certain about of actual human hair has to be in a bundle and the rest can be human like! I’m using babe now, haven’t had an issue and their tape is awesome!
